Neuro Seminar – Albert Pan
NEUROSCIENCE SEMINAR SERIES PRESENTS:
Albert Pan, PhD
Assistant Professor, Department of Neuroscience and Regenerative Medicine, Department of Neurology
Dr. Pan is an assistant professor at Augusta University (formerly Georgia Regents University) in the department of Neuroscience and Regenerative Medicine. Pan received his BS in Zoology with Dean’s list honors from National Taiwan University before obtaining his PhD in Neural Development from Washington University in St. Louis. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the department of Molecular and Cellular Biology at Harvard University.
Dr. Pan researches the molecular and cellular mechanisms that regulate neural circuit formation. Dr. Pan utilizes Zebrafish for transparent visualization of circuit development at high resolution. Dr. Pan also works on developing tools to allow detailed mapping of neural circuits.
